Stone Restoration FAQ’s

  • Simply go to the “contact us” page and upload a close-up picture of the damage, followed by a distance picture from as far away as possible of the whole area. We also need the site address where the damage has occurred, and your details so that we can get in contact; your “address”, “mobile number” & “email”.

    We will then email you a no obligation estimate for the repairs or resurfacing.

  • Yes, if we are unable to assess the job accurately from your images and description, and particularly where the work is more complex or we need to better understand the dynamics of the work, we will arrange with you a Site Survey, this will be followed by a comprehensive estimate.

  • Almost all stone, new and old mortar-based surfaces can be repaired or treated.

    Typically, we are asked repair or copy existing architectural features both new and old, on occasions we will be asked to restore or copy an old stone or brick façade, or highly decorative stone feature, or adjust the colour of an existing installation through tint applications.

  • Our Head Office is based in Exeter Devon, although we have technicians operating throughout the Southwest, so if you are in Avon, Somerset, Devon or Cornwall, rest assured we can come to you!

    We even look after some customers in Dorset.

  • Each job is assessed on its own merits and complexities, generally we don’t charge per meter, our trained specialist will review any images you send us and most likely attend a site survey and provide you with a no obligation estimate.

    We do however endeavour to provide the best possible price without compromising quality.

    We have our own internal training program, and have been operating our company since 2005 and all of our Technicians are able to achieve standards meeting the requirement of the most demanding situations including projects commissioned by; MOD, NHS, National and Regional accredited House Builders, and as a result of NHBC Inspectors requirements.

    We are also members of the “Buy with Confidence Scheme” set up by “Trading Standards” to ensure you receive a professional service.

  • That’s great, all you need to do is send us the images and a brief email of your requirements.

    Our technical director will usually attend a site survey, we will then send you a comprehensive estimate and then if you are happy, email us you instruction to proceed.

    Our office or your regional technician will then contact you to arrange dates to commence the work.

  • Simple, we will email or post the invoice to you, you can pay us by automated bank transfer online, or from your mobile phone app, or you can simply pop a cheque in the post in which we will send you a receipt.
